Phil Jackson won two championship as a player with the knicks in 1970 and 1973 and he was one of the best coaches in the history of National Basketball Assocition. He was the coach of chicago Bulls from 1989 threw 1998, and they won six NBA championships. Moreover, he move to Los Angeles to coach the LA Lakers and won five NBA Championships From 2010 threw 2010. Also known as five rings or five NBA titles as a coach. Phil Jackon however, holds the NBA record for the most combined championship as a player and a head coach. In 2007 Jackson was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall Of Fame. In 1996, as part of celebrations for the Nation Basketball Association's 50th anniversary, Phil was named one of the 10 greatest coaches in league history.
